About us
Villa la Ceiba with Free Wi-Fi in Trinidad. A centrally located hostel, with daily life centered around an intimate courtyard dominated by a giant ceiba tree. 3 rooms with air conditioning, fan, Wi-Fi, private bathroom, safe, hairdryer, and minibar.
Villa la Ceiba with Free Wi-Fi in Trinidad. We're located in the heart of the old town, the colonial quarter, in the historic center of the city. Everything is close at hand, no need to take taxis: museums, palaces, cobblestone streets, traditional houses, shops, bars, craft galleries, the Plaza Mayor, the staircase, the Casa de la Trova, etc.
The Hostel
Full of terraces and open spaces, with the ceiba tree patio as the centerpiece of the house, our hostel is laid out and built to adapt to the tree (which determines the structure of the building, which is built to avoid disturbing the giant plant). Very central, functional, and fun. Open to natural light and fresh air, under the treetop.
Rooms
Three rooms (two quadruple and one quintuple). They have direct access from the street. Equipped with air conditioning, a fan, Wi-Fi, a private bathroom (inside the rooms), 110V and 220V power, a safe, a hairdryer, and a minibar.
Accessibility
The rooms are on the first floor (accessible by stairs).
The Ceiba Tree
In the courtyard (where you can have breakfast or simply sit and enjoy the shade while sipping a delicious Cuban coffee) we have something unique: a gigantic, very old Ceiba tree (over 300 years old). It is a spectacular tree (sacred in Yoruba traditions) due to the thickness of its trunk and its immense canopy. This alone makes staying with us worth the experience.
Terrace with a View
On the upper floor of the house, we have a small bar where you can enjoy cold beer, juices, coffee, and a few sips of rum. Spectacular sunset views (mountains, beautiful skies, and, in the distance, the sea).
Breakfast
Delicious, complete, varied, and very natural breakfasts (fresh, seasonal, market-fresh produce, avoiding junk food and processed foods as much as possible). A good breakfast is always the best way to start a long day with energy. We recommend booking this along with your accommodation, so you'll have time to have everything ready when you arrive.

Hosts
We are responsible and very outgoing, but we respect our guests' space. If you need us, you can count on our help in any way we can. Roberto is a salsa teacher (so you know, if you want some lessons, just ask) and he also organizes horseback riding trips to the Valle de los Ingenios (affordable prices).
